Our design for a multi-family residential building in Vernon will make a “positive difference,” according to Selina Robinson, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. The 38 units, which range from studio to 3-bedroom units, will serve those needing affordable and low-cost housing.
Partnerships with the federal and provincial government have attracted much attention from the community, and New Town has been influential in this initiative to design affordable yet livable housing in the Okanagan. Global News has more details about the announcement in their article here. Vernon Morning Star also shared their thoughts stating, “every Canadian deserves a safe and affordable place to call home,” in their recent article here.
Construction is underway on this modern building that we designed with significant contemporary influence, as we move closer toward attaining our project’s goal to fill the critical housing gap in the area.
