The Waterfront is a high-end resort style development consisting of 20, 3-storey townhouses located along Okanagan Lake in West Kelowna. The design intent of this project was to develop an Okanagan style of Architecture that would reflect the unique climate and landscape of the area. The warm dry climate from spring to fall allows for a true indoor/outdoor living experience. This is captured by way of sliding glass walls, large outdoor patios and built in out-door kitchens. The shed roofs and operable windows facing the lake allow for shade and capture the lake breezes for summer cooling. The massing, materials and colour palette appeal to the area and the traditional architecture of the orchard industry.
