The vision for the Royal York property is to add 79 bare-land strata golf cottages to compliment the resort by providing year round residences and resort accommodation. The original clubhouse has been rebuilt as a community hub with a restaurant and meeting area, and is an integral component of the resort vision.
Development of the 79 cottages requires careful integration of Meighan Creek, which bisects the site. Through protection and enhancement, the creek offers a serene natural amenity to residents, while the golf course setting offers extensive visual open space.
