To complement the redevelopment of Stuart Park on Lake Okanagan, the Kelowna Yacht Club engaged New Town to develop a comprehensive site plan and building concept for a new Yacht Club.  This landmark building and site not only provides for increased functionality and usability for members, but also provides public use space in the form of conference rooms and a restaurant.  Extensive use of glass, timber and shade structures blends a regional contexturalism,and reflects the Okanagan lifestyle of sailing and spending afternoons on the lake.
