With the redevelopment of Stuart Park on Lake Okanagan, the Kelowna Yacht Club engaged New Town to develop a comprehensive site plan and building concept for a new Yacht Club.  This landmark building not only provides for increased functionality and usability for members, but also provides public use space in the form of conference rooms and restaurant.  Extensive use of glass, timber and shade structures blends a regional contexturalism, reflecting the Okanagan style, with the romance of sailing and a summer afternoon on the lake.
