Located in the Glenrosa area of West Kelowna, the proposed Glen Eagles neighbourhood is a continuation of the suburban form predominant in the area. A total of 10.73 ha will be re-zoned to include 75 single family and small lot single family home sites. Major design features include connections to adjacent neighbourhoods through pedestrian walkways, and conserving approximately 20% of the site area as Open and Park Space while still achieving desired density to make the project viable. The project has been presented to the community at an August 2010 Public Consultation Meeting and is anticipating First and Second Reading in the fall of 2010.
