Gellatly Beach Club

Resort
Kelowna, BC

Gellatly Beach Club includes a cluster of three buildings to complement the existing multi family residential development.  The “club” buildings provide amenities to visitors and residents to enjoy a resort experience.  Nestled in to a fold in the landscape, the form of the buildings reduces the visual impact of the surroundings and are appropriate to the local context.  The first building  includes a native interpretative centre, which provides exhibition, education, retail and workshop space and is the trail head for a number of trails within the area.  The second building includes a lake activity centre, complete with a boat slip, storage for lake activity equipment, information and rental facilities.  The final building is a  luxury Beach Club, with facilities including a kitchen, dining area, bar, fitness centre and change rooms, semi-covered swimming pool and indoor/outdoor lounge.
